These terms govern your use of the hosted quellbot service at quellbot.fly.dev. By connecting your GitHub account you agree to them. If you self-host quellbot, these terms do not apply to your instance; the MIT license in the repository does.
quellbot is an advisory automation tool. When you trigger it, it uses a Claude model to propose a bug fix as a pull request, to review a pull request, or to explain a failed CI run. It always leaves a human in control: it never merges, never pushes to your default branch, and never edits your CI. Everything it produces is a suggestion for you to review, accept, or discard.
You must have a GitHub account and be old enough to hold one in your country. You are responsible for the security of your GitHub account and for the credentials you connect. You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App.
Do not attempt to use quellbot to exfiltrate secrets, bypass its policy gate, target another tenant, or drive the model to produce unlawful content. quellbot treats all repository content as untrusted and instructs the model to ignore instructions embedded in it, but you remain responsible for what you trigger.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. quellbot does not warrant that its suggestions are correct, complete, secure, or suitable to merge. It is a beta service and may change or be unavailable at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, quellbot and its maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from code you chose to merge, from model output, from your Claude or Fly costs, or from service downtime. Because the service is free and you retain control over every merge, you accept the risk of using automated suggestions.
We may suspend or terminate access that abuses the service, threatens other tenants, or violates these terms. You can terminate at any time by uninstalling the App and disconnecting your credentials; on request we delete your account data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be surfaced to account holders where practical. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
